At Cardinal Hospice of Kansas, we don’t want to provide just any care, we want to provide Exceptional Care.  Exceptional care means One of a Kind, Uncommon, Unheard of, and Unprecedented. 

So where does exceptional care start?  First, we must focus on Quality of Care.  If we do not have first-rate, top-notch quality care, nothing else matters right? 

To achieve the highest level of quality we focus on a Holistic Approach.  It’s not just the physical, but the emotional and spiritual aspects of care we focus on as well.  We also emphasize caring for the families of our patients.  We must recognize their needs and the critical role they play in the care of their loved one.  

Our care has to be Personalized.  We recognize that no two journeys are the same.  We provide tailored care plans honoring the wishes and needs of our patients and their families.  

Our care must be Timely.  In hospice when we are needed, we are often needed at the drop of a hat, and it is our job to be there. 

Lastly, we believe Caring is what sets us apart.  This is what makes us Uncommon, Unprecedented and One of a Kind.  We ask our staff to give a little piece of themselves.  Getting to truly know your patient means investing a piece of yourself in order to learn their wants, needs, and unspoken sentiments.
